Most spouses have concerns for the emotional well-being of their partner/wife. They are not sure how she will do with having the baby, but not bringing home a baby. We provide emotional and psychological support throughout the process so that the Surrogate has a full understanding that the child is never their child. Therefore they are not giving away a baby, they are giving the baby to its own parents/family. Surrogates usually are excited about the delivery and being able to sleep through the night since they will not need to care for the newborn.
